Tennessee Preview

The Tennessee Volunteers are off to a fast start for sixth-year head coach Josh Heupel, but have not won a College Football Playoff game during his tenure. The 15th ranked Volunteers (3-0) are one of the top offensive units in the SEC Conference and are scoring 50.5 points per contest. On Saturday, Tennessee rushed for 268 yards and averaged 6.5 yards per carry during a 42-9 home victory versus Kennesaw State.

Tennessee sophomore RB Daune Morris led the charge on the ground with 116 yards and a touchdown. Freshman QB Faizon Brandon completed 18 of 26 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. Brandon added 47 rushing yards and a score. Senior LB Arion Carter recorded eight tackles (6 solo) and a sack for the Volunteers.
