The Troy Trojans currently sit at the bottom of the Sun Belt West with a 1-2 record, coming off a tough loss to a Power Five opponent in week 3. Quarterback Gunnar Watson was under pressure throughout this game, but still managed to throw for 212 yards and a touchdown. Troy’s ground game was led by running back Kimani Vidal, who posted 97 rushing yards on 18 carries. The Trojans have been inconsistent early in the season, but their balanced offensive gives them a chance to stay in games against stronger competition.

Buffalo Preview

The Buffalo Bulls sit in the MAC East at 2-1, entering this matchup after an impressive 28-17 victory over Liberty. Quarterback Cole Snyder was efficient in that win, completing 18 of 27 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulls also leaned on running back Ron Cook Jr., who ran for 88 yards and a score. Buffalo’s defense was the real difference maker, forcing two turnovers and limiting Liberty’s passing attack to under 180 yards.
