The Troy Trojans will be on the road for the first time this week with a game in Clemson against the Clemson Tigers. Offensively, Troy was the better team in their week 1 matchup, scoring 38 points, including 28 in the fourth quarter, on 416 total yards. Clemson Preview

The Clemson Tigers come into Week 2 winless on the season following a 7-point loss against LSU. Clemson was ranked #4 in the preseason poll, but has lost three of the last four overall, dating back to last season. Offensively, Clemson was below their standard in week 1, scoring just 10 points, including none in the second half, with 261 total yards. Defensively, Clemson was outmatched, giving up 354 yards and 17 points after LSU scored 14 points in the second half.

Cade Klubnik had a below-average season debut, completing just 19 passes for 230 yards in the game. Adam Randall led the way on the ground for Clemson with 16 yards and one score on five carries. Bryant Wesco Jr led the team with 66 yards on 4 receptions. TJ Moore chipped in four catches for 55 yards in the game.

Troy vs Clemson Pick

Despite the loss in week 1, Clemson is one of the best teams in the country and will get back to their winning ways this week. Look for Clemson to dominate this game on both sides of the ball as they come into this game with a chip on their shoulder. Take the tigers and get their first victory of the season this week as they blow Troy out, leading to the wind and cover. Final Score Prediction, Clemson Tigers win and cover 56-7.
