Tulsa’s offense moves methodically down the field using conservative plays over big plays.
The defense has struggled, especially against the run, giving up 367 yards to Navy last week. The pass rush has produced some results, with Byron Turner Jr. recording 3.5 sacks, but open-field tackling remains an issue. If Tulsa cannot stop early down runs, Oklahoma State will be able to control the pace.

On defense, Oklahoma State is led by linebacker Bryan McCoy Jr. with 23 tackles and Taje McCoy, who has three sacks. The front seven is capable of creating pressure, and this group has the potential to force Tulsa’s Francis into mistakes. If the Cowboys can slow Richardson on first down, they should be able to dictate the game.
