Wyoming enters this matchup after beating Akron 10-0 and Northern Iowa 31-7. Quarterback Kaden Anderson has thrown for 427 yards with three touchdowns against one interception, showing steady command of the offense. Running back Sam Scott has been a consistent option with 190 yards on 37 carries, helping the Cowboys maintain ball control. At home in Laramie, they will look to grind the game down and limit Utah’s possessions.

The Cowboys’ passing game has leaned heavily on Chris Durr Jr., who already has 244 receiving yards and two scores. If Wyoming is forced to play from behind, Anderson will need to rely on that connection to keep the chains moving. Playing at altitude is always an added element for visiting teams, and Wyoming will aim to take advantage of that edge against a ranked opponent.
