The Wake Forest demon deacons stay at home this week, undefeated this year, following a one-point victory against Kennesaw State to open the season. Offensively, Wake Forest moved the ball well in week 1, compiling 348 total yards, but converted only six third downs to score just 10 points in the game. Defensively, the Demon Deacons were phenomenal, giving up 9 points and no touchdowns on 307 total yards.

Robby Ashford led the way for the Wake Forest offense, completing 20 passes for 218 yards and running the ball for a team-leading 42 yards and one score on 18 carries. Trey Clark III added 37 yards on 11 carries. Eni Falayi added a team-high 52 yards on 4 receptions.
