On Saturday, Northwestern was outgained by nearly 200 yards on the ground during a 23-3 road loss against Tulane.

SMU transfer QB Preston Stone was picked off four times and finished with a game-high 161 passing yards. Northwestern junior WR Griffin Wilde had six receptions for 64 yards. The Wildcats did not force a turnover and allowed the Green Wave to possess the ball for 33 plus minutes.
