Arizona Cardinals vs Dallas Cowboys Picks and Prediction for Sunday November 1 2026
Dallas finally looked like the team everybody expected to see last Monday. The Cowboys put 38 points on Philadelphia, beat the Eagles by 17, and now they’re getting an Arizona defense that has been giving up almost 30 points a game.
You want me to take the Cardinals in that spot?
I know Arizona has a funny habit of beating Dallas. They’ve won their last four trips to AT&T Stadium. But I’m not betting on history when one team is scoring 27 points a game and the other one can’t finish drives.
Arizona visits AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Sunday at 1 PM ET on FOX. Dallas is favored by 6.5 points, with a total of 54.5. The stadium has a retractable roof, and its status hasn’t been confirmed. Outside, the forecast is around 75 degrees, light winds near 3 mph with gusts around 6, and no meaningful rain threat. Weather shouldn’t be much of an issue either way. Be ready for all the football action with our free NFL picks.

Arizona Cardinals Keep Leaving Points on the Field
Arizona is 2-5, including 2-2 away from home. The Cardinals lost 30-16 to Denver last week despite holding the ball for more than 33 minutes and gaining 353 yards. That’s the sort of game that drives you nuts. They moved the football, got into scoring position, and went just 1-for-5 in the red zone. You can’t waste four trips down there and expect to win.
Arizona averages 20.3 points and about 326 yards per game. The defense is allowing 29.7 points and 370 yards, including 126 on the ground. That last number bothers me against Dallas. The Cowboys have been more balanced offensively lately, and Arizona isn’t stopping teams consistently once they get into scoring range. Dallas doesn’t need to be brilliant. It just needs to avoid the mistakes Arizona keeps making.
Jacoby Brissett has thrown for 1,600 yards with ten touchdowns and six interceptions. Trey McBride has 59 catches for 472 yards and four scores, including ten catches for 111 yards against Denver. He’s the guy Dallas has to respect. But Arizona’s offensive line is hurting. Jon Gaines II is out, Hjalte Froholdt is questionable, and Walter Nolen is missing from the defensive front. That’s a tough setup against a Dallas team that finally has some confidence.
Dallas Cowboys Finally Found Their Offense Again
Dallas is 3-4, with a 1-2 home record. That isn’t impressive, but Monday’s 38-21 win over Philadelphia was a big step forward. The Cowboys had been struggling to finish drives, and then they went out and scored their season high against a division rival. Maybe that gets things moving. At the very least, it gives them something positive to build on.
Dallas averages 27 points and nearly 359 yards per game. Dak Prescott has been getting decent protection, and the offense has enough weapons to attack Arizona through the air or on the ground. The defense is still a concern, allowing 25.7 points and almost 381 yards per game. That’s why I don’t love laying a touchdown. The Cowboys can score 30 and still make you sweat the final possession.
Prescott has thrown for 1,851 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. CeeDee Lamb has 53 receptions for 651 yards and six touchdowns, while Javonte Williams has rushed for 472 yards and eight scores. That’s the balance I want against Arizona. George Pickens is questionable with shoulder and hamstring issues, and KaVontae Turpin is out. Dallas has some defensive injuries, too. Still, the Cowboys have enough healthy offensive talent to make this a long afternoon for the Cardinals.
Arizona Cardinals vs Dallas Cowboys Picks and Prediction
Dallas Cowboys -6.5
I’m taking Dallas minus 6.5. Arizona has been competitive in stretches, and McBride could have a big game against this secondary. That’s the part that worries me. But the Cardinals keep settling for field goals, and Dallas has a much better chance of turning its scoring opportunities into touchdowns. Prescott looked comfortable against Philadelphia, and Arizona is giving up almost 30 points a game. I think Dallas gets into the 30s again. Give me the Cowboys by eight or nine.
Under 54.5 Points
I’ll take Under 54.5. Dallas could score 35, so there’s definitely some danger. But Arizona is averaging only 20.3 points, and the Cardinals have been terrible at finishing drives. They also like to control possession, which can eat up a lot of clock. I don’t expect Dallas to shut them out, but I can see the Cardinals moving the ball without scoring enough to push this game over. Something around Dallas 31-21 sounds right.
Final Picks: Dallas Cowboys -6.5 and Under 54.5 Points
