The week three NFL schedule will kick off on Thursday night, when the Atlanta Falcons travel to beautiful Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, Atlanta turned the ball over five times during an ugly 34-3 home loss versus Carolina.

Cooper Rush made his second start for the Falcons and was picked off twice. Jack Strand finished the game and also threw an interception. All-Pro RB Bijan Robinson rushed for a game-high 72 yards on 16 carries. WR Drake London added 51 receiving yards on four receptions for the Falcons.

Packers Preview

The Packers have missed the playoffs just once in the previous seven seasons and have some serious questions to answer for head coach Matt LaFleur. The Packers (1-1) saw their scoring average drop four points last season and are averaging just 21 points per game. Last week, Green Bay rallied from a ten-point fourth quarter deficit to steal a 20-17 overtime victory against the New York Jets.

Green Bay WR Christian Watson caught a three-yard touchdown from Jordan Love midway through the final quarter and Trey Smack nailed a pair of short field goals for the final margin. DE Lukas Van Ness recorded ten tackles (7 solo) and 1.5 sacks for the Packers, who managed just 199 yards of total offense.
