The AFC North clash between the Browns and Ravens kicks off at 11:00 AM ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, with CBS providing the broadcast. Both teams enter at 0-1 after season-opening losses. Browns Analysis

Cleveland dropped its opener 17-16 to Cincinnati at home, struggling to finish drives despite moving the ball well through the air. Joe Flacco threw for 290 yards on 31 completions but also tossed two costly interceptions. The ground game never gained traction, with Dylan Sampson leading with just 29 rushing yards. Jerry Jeudy paced the receiving unit with 66 yards, while Myles Garrett showed his impact with two sacks. However, the Browns’ offensive line is banged up, with Jack Conklin questionable and several inactive linemen thinning depth.

The Browns are trying to clean up turnovers and find consistency after a sloppy start. Flacco’s chemistry with Jeudy looks promising, but without balance in the run game, opponents can key in on the passing attack. The defense played fairly well in keeping Cincinnati to 17 points, but the lack of sustained drives on offense put pressure on Garrett and company to keep bailing them out. Going on the road against a Ravens squad loaded with firepower presents a massive challenge.

Ravens Analysis

Baltimore fell short in a shootout at Buffalo, losing 41-40 despite an efficient day from Lamar Jackson. The veteran quarterback threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns on 14 completions, spreading the ball around while Zay Flowers exploded for 143 yards and a score. Derrick Henry looked like a force, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 carries. The Ravens proved they can still generate explosive plays, but the defense allowed far too many points to keep pace.

With Baltimore at home, the formula is clear: lean on Henry’s bruising runs and let Jackson operate in the play-action game. Flowers has quickly become a top weapon, giving the Ravens the vertical threat they lacked last season. Roquan Smith’s 10 tackles highlight the defensive intensity, but the unit has to tighten up in coverage after getting lit up by Buffalo. Fortunately for them, Cleveland doesn’t bring the same offensive balance.
