Raiders Preview

The Las Vegas Raiders will be traveling to Northwest Stadium in Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season, where they’ll take on the Washington Commanders. The Raiders enter this game at 1-1, coming off a disappointing 20-9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Geno Smith finished 24-of-43 passing for just 180 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions, while the Raiders managed only 218 total yards and averaged 3.6 yards per carry. On the other side, the Commanders are also 1-1. Washington opened the season with a win over the New York Giants but suffered a setback in Week 2, losing 27-18 against the Green Bay Packers. Commanders Preview

A major storyline heading into this matchup is the uncertain availability of Commanders second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels sustained a knee sprain in the Packers game and is officially listed as questionable or doubtful for Sunday. If Daniels sits, veteran Marcus Mariota is expected to start. Washington will also be without running back Austin Ekeler and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. for the season, both lost to serious injuries in Week 2.
