Broncos Analysis

Denver has had a mixed start to the season. Their offense has shown flashes but also too many stalled drives and turnovers. QB Bo Nix has passed for 382 yards across the first two games, with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Meanwhile their rushing game (led by J.K. Dobbins) has produced reliable yardage, and the wide receiver corps (including Troy Franklin) has chipped in.

Defensively, Denver has been middle of the pack. They have recorded 7 sacks, but turnovers have been hard to come by (0 interceptions so far). The Broncos’ ability to generate pressure will be important in this matchup.

On offense, LA has been efficient, controlling the game tempo, and showing burst in the passing game and enough in the run to keep defenses honest. Defensively, even missing Khalil Mack for part of the game vs. the Raiders, they managed to limit big plays and close down the red zone.

We like LA, but will have to consider the Chargers defense being pushed around as Mack was a big part of the defense.
