Cleveland fits the “ugly dog” profile, and that’s often where early-season value lies. Joe Burrow has historically struggled out of the gate, going just 1-4 in season openers, and this Bengals team still hasn’t solved last year’s defensive issues.

The Browns’ defensive line remains elite and should be able to pressure Burrow consistently, forcing mistakes and limiting big plays. While questions remain under center for Cleveland, their run game and defensive line provide a reliable foundation to back them here.

At +5.5, the Browns are undervalued, and even the moneyline deserves consideration in what should be a hard-fought divisional battle.

Giants +5.5 vs Commanders

The Giants may be a popular underdog this week, but that doesn’t make them the wrong side.

New York boasts one of the best defensive fronts in the league, and they’re in prime position to disrupt Washington’s young quarterback Jayden Daniels. Expect heavy pressure and potential turnovers created by New York’s pass rush.

On the offensive side, Russell Wilson should have enough left in the tank to exploit Washington’s questionable secondary and keep drives alive.

Getting 5.5 points in what profiles as a tight divisional matchup is simply too good to pass on.

Back the Giants to keep this one within striking distance.

Packers -2.5 vs Lions

Green Bay enters Week 1 with momentum, stability, and a raucous Lambeau Field crowd behind them.

The Packers are set to face a Lions team breaking in new offensive and defensive coordinators, with Jared Goff adjusting to life without trusted play-caller Ben Johnson.

That transition could be rocky, especially in a hostile environment. Green Bay, meanwhile, is settled, deep, and ready to make an early statement in the NFC North.

At less than a field goal, the Packers are in a prime spot to cover and hand Detroit an opening-week setback.
