The week six NFL schedule will kick off on Thursday night with a battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants from MetLife Stadium. On Sunday, Philadelphia was unable to protect a 14-point lead entering the fourth quarter during a 21-17 home loss versus Denver.

Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts had his best day of the season through the air with 280 passing yards and two touchdowns. Saquon Barkley caught a 47-yard touchdown, but was limited to 30 rushing yards. DeVonta Smith added a game-high 114 receiving yards for the Eagles, who converted just 2-for-11 third down attempts.

Giants Preview

The New York Giants have split their first two home games and are trying to climb out of the NFC East Division cellar. The Giants (1-4) need to improve a defense that ranks seventh worst in yards allowed and is giving up 25.4 points per contest. Last week, New York committed a season-high five turnovers during a 26-14 road loss against New Orleans.

Rookie QB Jaxson Dart completed 26 of 40 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns to TE Theo Johnson. Rookie RB Cam Skattebo continued to run hard for New York with a game-high 59 yards on 15 carries. The Giants were penalized eight times for 95 yards.
