Pittsburgh Steelers vs New Orleans Saints Picks and Predictions for Sunday October 25 2026
The Steelers and Saints are playing in Paris on Sunday, and I wonder how many French fans are ready for three hours of Pittsburgh football. It’s not always pretty. Sometimes it looks like two teams fighting over the last parking spot at the grocery store. But the Steelers are 4-2, they’ve won three of their last four, and they know how to grind out a win. New Orleans? The Saints finally got their second victory Sunday, but that defense still has some explaining to do.
Pittsburgh and New Orleans meet at Stade de France in Saint-Denis on October 25, 2026. Kickoff is at 9:30 AM ET on NFL Network. Pittsburgh is favored by 3.5 points, and the total is 44.5. It’s technically a Saints home game, although I doubt many folks in Paris are going to be waving black-and-gold towels for either team. Check out our free NFL picks for more predictions.
Pittsburgh Steelers Keep Winning The Hard Way
Pittsburgh beat Tampa Bay 26-19 in overtime last Sunday. The Steelers had to work for every bit of it, but they got the job done. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes, and Pittsburgh made the plays it needed when the game was on the line. That’s been the story lately. The Steelers aren’t blowing teams off the field, but they’ve won three of four and are sitting at 4-2. There’s something to be said for winning close games, especially on the road.
The offense isn’t exactly a fireworks show. Pittsburgh can move the ball, but there are stretches where Rodgers is throwing it away because nobody’s open. The running game helps, although it hasn’t been the sort of attack that scares a defense into loading the box. What the Steelers do have is a defense that can get after the quarterback. That’s where I think this game turns. New Orleans has given up too many points, and its quarterback has been playing hurt. If Pittsburgh gets pressure without sending everybody, the Saints are going to have a rough morning.

Rodgers has thrown for 1,487 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. Jaylen Warren has 460 rushing yards, and DK Metcalf has 318 receiving yards. Those aren’t numbers that jump off the page, but Pittsburgh has been getting enough out of them. T.J. Watt is still the guy New Orleans has to worry about when dropping back to pass. Jalen Ramsey has been dealing with a wrist injury, and the Steelers have some other bumps and bruises in the secondary. They need those defenders healthy because New Orleans can throw the ball when it gets time.
New Orleans Saints Need More Than One Good Sunday
The Saints beat the Giants 34-27 last week, and I imagine everybody in New Orleans was happy to see the offense finally put up some points. Before that, they’d lost three straight and given up 35 to Las Vegas, 45 to Atlanta, and 23 to Minnesota. That’s not a great stretch. New Orleans is 2-4, and the defense has been making life difficult for everybody on the roster. The offense scores, the defense gives it right back. Hard to win that way.
New Orleans can move the football through the air, but it hasn’t been consistent. Tyler Shough threw three touchdowns against the Giants, although he finished with only 144 passing yards. That’s a strange-looking stat line, but the Saints will take it. The trouble is protecting him. Pittsburgh has enough pass rushers to make this uncomfortable, and the Saints haven’t been very good when opponents get pressure without blitzing. If New Orleans gets behind the chains, it could spend a lot of Sunday morning watching Shough scramble around looking for somebody to throw to.
Shough has been playing with broken bones in his non-throwing hand. He’s been tough enough to stay out there, but that’s not something you want to deal with against Pittsburgh. Chris Olave gives him a dependable target, but Travis Etienne Jr. is on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. The Saints need to get the ball out quickly and avoid third-and-long. That’s easier said than done when the other team has Watt coming off the edge. New Orleans has enough talent to make this competitive. I just don’t trust that defense to get stops when it matters.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs New Orleans Saints Picks and Predictions
Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5 (-110)
I’m laying the 3.5 with Pittsburgh. I don’t love that extra half-point. A field-goal win does us no good, and the Steelers have a habit of making games closer than they need to be. But New Orleans has been giving up points like it’s handing out samples at the grocery store. The Saints allowed 130 points over their last four games, and now they have to face a Pittsburgh defense that can make Shough miserable. Rodgers doesn’t need to be spectacular. He needs to take care of the ball, find Metcalf a few times, and let Warren do some work. I think Pittsburgh wins this by a touchdown.
Under 44.5 Points (-110)
I’ll take under 44.5. The Saints’ defense worries me, because it can turn an ordinary game into a shootout all by itself. But Pittsburgh doesn’t usually play that way. The Steelers would rather run the ball, keep Rodgers upright, and make the other team earn its points. Shough is playing hurt, and I don’t see New Orleans having an easy time against this pass rush. Maybe the Saints hit a couple of big plays and make me regret it. That’s football. But I see Pittsburgh controlling the clock and keeping the score somewhere around 24-17.
Final Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5 (-110) and Under 44.5 Points (-110)
