Bournemouth vs Leeds United Picks and Predictions for Saturday October 31 2026
Five straight wins. Fourteen goals scored. None allowed.
That’s what Bournemouth has done over its last five matches, and now somebody wants to tell me Leeds is the better bet because they’re higher in the league table. I get the argument. Leeds has been hard to beat. But Bournemouth looks like a completely different club from the one that struggled in September.
The Cherries host Leeds at Vitality Stadium on Saturday, October 31, with kickoff at 11:00 AM ET. Bournemouth is around +110 on the three-way moneyline, and Over 2.5 goals is priced near -115. I like the home side to keep winning, although I wouldn’t expect Leeds to make it easy. Get into the action with all of our free soccer picks.
Bournemouth Has Finally Found Its Feet
Bournemouth is 13th in the Premier League with nine points from eight matches. Two wins, three draws and three defeats. That doesn’t look impressive until you see what’s happened recently. Marco Rose’s team has won five consecutive matches in all competitions, including three straight 3-0 victories over AC Milan, Manchester United and Aston Villa. Beating United at Old Trafford by three goals certainly got my attention.

The difference has been at both ends. Bournemouth isn’t just scoring; it’s stopped giving opponents cheap chances. Five straight clean sheets is difficult to pull off against anybody, never mind the teams they’ve been facing. The Cherries have also started moving the ball quicker through midfield. They’re getting players forward without leaving quite so much space behind them. Leeds is organized enough to make this awkward, but Bournemouth has been creating chances against stronger opposition.
Evanilson has scored four goals in his last five appearances, while Marcus Tavernier has five Premier League goals this season. Those two have given Bournemouth a proper threat around the penalty area. Alex Scott, Alex Toth and Julian Araujo are unavailable, and Veljko Milosavljevic is a fitness concern. But Rose has kept a fairly settled lineup during this winning run. I wouldn’t start changing much now.
Leeds United Knows How to Make Games Ugly
Leeds is seventh with 11 points from eight games. Two wins, five draws and only one defeat. That’s a respectable start, especially for a club trying to establish itself in the division. But five draws tell you something. Leeds is very good at hanging around in games and not quite as good at finishing them. The last two league matches ended 1-1 against Manchester United and 0-0 against Sunderland.
Defensively, Leeds has been one of the tougher teams in the league to break down. They’ve allowed only about 0.8 goals per away game so far. The trouble is they’re scoring about the same amount on the road. That doesn’t give you much room to work with. Bournemouth has been pressing better lately, and I think Leeds could spend long stretches defending its own half. They’ll get chances on the counterattack, but probably not many.
Joe Rodon is missing with a hamstring injury, while Mateo Joseph remains out. Anton Stach has been dealing with a foot problem, and Daniel James is another fitness concern. Dominic Calvert-Lewin gives Leeds somebody who can occupy defenders, and Noah Okafor can cause trouble if he gets space. But with Bournemouth playing this well defensively, Leeds might have to be unusually efficient to score.
Bournemouth vs Leeds United Picks and Predictions
Bournemouth Moneyline (+110)
I’m taking Bournemouth. Leeds has lost only once in the league, so I’m not expecting the Cherries to walk through them. But there’s a difference between being difficult to beat and actually winning. Bournemouth has been doing the latter, and doing it against good opposition. Five straight wins with no goals conceded isn’t something I’m willing to dismiss. Leeds could absolutely grind out another draw. That’s the risk. Still, Bournemouth is at home, Evanilson is scoring, and the defense has been excellent. I’ll take the Cherries.
Under 2.5 Goals — Alternative Pick
I’m going Under 2.5, even though Bournemouth has been scoring plenty. Leeds has been stubborn defensively, and the visitors aren’t likely to open this game up unless they fall behind. Bournemouth has also gone five straight matches without conceding. That makes me think Leeds could have a difficult time finding a goal. The danger is Bournemouth scoring twice early and forcing Leeds to attack. But I can see the home side winning 1-0 or 2-0. That’s enough for me to lean Under rather than assume another three-goal Bournemouth performance.
