Coventry City vs Fulham Picks and Predictions for Saturday October 24 2026
Coventry were feeling pretty good about themselves a week ago. They’d beaten Nottingham Forest, hammered Newcastle 4-1, and looked like they were starting to get the hang of Premier League football. Then they went to Tottenham on Monday and lost 3-1. That’s life for a promoted club. One week you’re celebrating, the next you’re reminded how difficult this league can be.
Fulham finally got their first league victory last Saturday, beating Hull 1-0. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but after six matches without a win, I doubt anybody at Fulham cared much about style.
Coventry City hosts Fulham at Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:00 AM ET. Fulham are favored around +130, Coventry are +190, and the draw is +250. The total is 2.5 goals. Get in on all the action with our free soccer picks.
Coventry City Are Learning The Hard Way
Coventry are 2-0-5 through seven league matches, with six points. They’ve scored six goals and conceded 14, and that defensive record explains quite a bit. Their 4-1 victory over Newcastle was excellent, and the 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest was just as important in a different way. But Tottenham brought them back down to earth Monday. Jack Rudoni equalized shortly after halftime, only for Spurs to score twice more and win 3-1.

The Sky Blues have been allowing two goals per match, and that’s a difficult way to survive in the Premier League. They don’t score enough to make up for those mistakes regularly. Fulham haven’t been particularly dangerous going forward, so Coventry should get a chance to play a more balanced game. They’ll need to make the most of it. The home crowd should help, but the defenders still have to win their individual battles.
Rudoni has two league goals and nine chances created, making him one of Coventry’s most important attacking players. Brandon Thomas-Asante has supplied two assists, and Sidiki Cherif offers another option up front. Haji Wright and Luke Woolfenden have been dealing with injuries, while Taiwo Awoniyi is suspended. Those absences limit Coventry’s choices, especially if they fall behind and need somebody to change the match.
Fulham Finally Have A Win On The Board
Fulham are 1-2-4 with five points after beating Hull 1-0. Seven matches to get the first victory isn’t what anybody had in mind, but at least the Cottagers have something to build on. They’ve scored seven goals and conceded ten. That doesn’t look disastrous until you remember they’ve won only once. Fulham have had trouble turning decent stretches of possession into goals.
They’ve averaged around 57% possession, yet they’re scoring just once a match. That tells you something about their finishing. Fulham can move the ball around and look comfortable for long periods without creating enough danger. Coventry’s defense should offer them opportunities, but Fulham still have to make something of them. Their away record hasn’t been good either. No wins in three league trips.
Joshua King has two goals, while Alex Iwobi has created 17 chances and remains one of Fulham’s main attacking outlets. Sander Berge helps keep things moving in midfield. Ryan Sessegnon is suspended, and Hugo Larsson has been dealing with a groin problem. Fulham have enough experience to win this match, although they haven’t given bettors many reasons to trust them on the road.
Coventry City vs Fulham Picks and Predictions
Coventry City Moneyline (+190)
I’m taking Coventry at home. Fulham are the favorites, and I understand why. They have more Premier League experience and finally got a win last weekend. But one victory over Hull doesn’t suddenly make them a reliable away side. Coventry have beaten Forest and Newcastle recently, and the home crowd should be right behind them. The Sky Blues have defensive problems, no question, but Fulham haven’t been scoring enough to make me particularly worried about laying off the home side. At +190, Coventry are worth a look.
Under 2.5 Goals
I’ll go under 2.5. Coventry have been giving up plenty, but Fulham are averaging only one goal a match. Neither side has shown much consistency in front of goal, and this is an important match for two clubs near the bottom. I expect both to be a little careful, especially early. One defensive mistake could change everything, but I’m looking for a fairly tight afternoon. Coventry 1, Fulham 0.
Final Picks: Coventry City Moneyline (+190) and Under 2.5 Goals
