Minnesota controlled Game 1 but squandered a big second-half lead in Game 2. Napheesa Collier has been the main scorer in the playoffs, averaging 21.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Kayla McBride has added 19.3 points per game and has shot well from outside, making almost half of her threes. The pair gives the Lynx a strong inside-outside attack.
Courtney Williams is averaging 15.0 points and 6.8 assists, while also leading the defense with 3.0 steals per game. Alanna Smith has been active around the rim with 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. The Lynx need to cut down turnovers and keep the ball moving to get good shots for McBride and Collier.
Phoenix Mercury Preview
Phoenix came back in Game 2 with a big overtime win. Alyssa Thomas has led the way with 17.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game, showing she can do a little of everything. Satou Sabally has been just as important, scoring 16.2 points and grabbing 8.4 rebounds per game.
