Ravens Super Bowl Odds Rise to 7% After Week 1 Win
Baltimore delivered one of the strongest statements of NFL Week 1, and prediction markets have responded.
The Ravens are now priced at approximately a 7% chance to win the 2027 NFL championship on both Polymarket and Kalshi after beating the Indianapolis Colts 41-23 on Sunday.
Polymarket had Baltimore closer to 6.3% entering the weekend.
That may look like a small move in raw percentage points, but championship probabilities are compressed across a 32-team field. Moving from the low-six-percent range to roughly seven puts Baltimore firmly among the leading contenders after only one game.

For Monday's NFL Week 1 futures mover, Baltimore is the clearest high-liquidity championship repricing tied directly to Sunday's results.

Ravens Super Bowl Odds Reach About 7%
Polymarket's current NFL futures board has Baltimore around seven cents on the dollar to win the championship.
Kalshi is showing essentially the same number.
That cross-market agreement matters.
Baltimore is not moving because of one isolated thin contract. Two of the major U.S. prediction-market platforms are placing the Ravens in approximately the same championship tier after Week 1.
The Rams remain ahead of the field, while Buffalo, Seattle and Baltimore make up much of the next group.
Baltimore also sits around 13% to win the AFC on Kalshi.
That leaves the Ravens behind Buffalo on the conference board but firmly in the first group of AFC contenders entering Week 2.
Baltimore Dominated Indianapolis 41-23
The futures adjustment followed a performance that looked much stronger than the final 18-point margin alone.
Baltimore produced more than 500 yards of offense in Indianapolis.
Lamar Jackson threw for 324 yards and a touchdown while adding another score on the ground.
Derrick Henry rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns, giving the Ravens the kind of complementary rushing attack that has made their offense difficult to defend when Jackson is operating efficiently.
Baltimore finished with 506 total yards compared with just 251 for Indianapolis.
The Ravens also forced turnovers and consistently pressured Colts quarterback Daniel Jones.
For a team beginning the season under a new head coach and a new offensive coordinator, that level of Week 1 production was significant.
Jesse Minter's Ravens Debut Changes the Early Narrative
Sunday was Jesse Minter's first regular-season game as Baltimore's head coach.
It did not look like a team struggling through a major coaching transition.
The Ravens controlled the game offensively, generated takeaways defensively and produced explosive plays in several different ways.
That is important for the futures market because Baltimore's roster quality was never the primary concern.
The bigger uncertainty entering the season was whether a new coaching structure could immediately maximize a team built around Jackson, Henry and an experienced defense.
Week 1 offered an encouraging first answer.
Minter has also moved to the top of Polymarket's early Coach of the Year board at approximately 14%, although that award market remains much smaller and less liquid than the championship market.
Derrick Henry Still Changes Baltimore's Ceiling
Henry's performance may have been the most important part of Sunday's win for the long-term championship case.
He scored three rushing touchdowns and finished with 144 yards.
That gives Baltimore an offense capable of punishing defenses that devote too much attention to Jackson.
Henry also moved past Marcus Allen into third place on the NFL's all-time rushing-touchdown list.
The individual milestone matters less to the futures market than the way Baltimore used him.
Indianapolis could not consistently stop the run without creating favorable opportunities elsewhere.
If that continues, the Ravens do not need Jackson to carry the offense on every high-leverage possession.
That balance matters over a 17-game season and becomes even more important in January.
Zay Flowers Injury Keeps the Market Move in Check
There was one major negative development Sunday.
Zay Flowers left the game with a hamstring injury after producing 150 receiving yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Flowers had already posted a career high before leaving the game.
Rookie receiver Ja'Kobi Lane also exited with a wrist injury.
Those injuries matter because Baltimore's championship case depends on having enough receiving depth around Jackson to punish defenses vertically.
Flowers was the offense's most explosive receiver Sunday.
His status therefore becomes the most important immediate variable for the Ravens futures price.
A favorable injury update could reinforce the move toward Baltimore.
A multi-week absence would give traders a reason to pull the championship probability back.
That uncertainty helps explain why Baltimore has moved higher without suddenly jumping into double-digit championship territory.
How Baltimore Compares With the NFL Futures Leaders
The NFL championship market remains unusually open after Week 1.
The Rams continue to hold the highest probability.
Buffalo remains around 9% after beating Houston 36-31.
Baltimore is now around 7%, placing the Ravens in the next tier alongside Seattle and other leading contenders.
That position is important because the market is not requiring Baltimore to become the outright favorite for a Week 1 result to matter.
A move from roughly 6.3% to approximately 7% represents a meaningful increase in the market's estimate of Baltimore's title chances while still leaving substantial uncertainty.
The Ravens remain much more likely not to win the championship than to win it.
But Sunday's performance strengthened the argument that they belong near the top of the AFC board.
Why the Market Is Not Moving Buffalo the Same Way
Buffalo also won Sunday, beating Houston 36-31 behind another strong Josh Allen performance.
But the Bills already entered Week 1 around 9% to win the championship.
They remain near that level.
That distinction is useful.
A futures market reacts not only to whether a team wins, but also to how much new information the result provides.
Buffalo winning a close game against Houston largely confirmed what traders already believed about one of the league's leading contenders.
Baltimore winning by 18 while producing more than 500 yards under a new coaching staff provided more information relative to its pregame price.
That is why the Ravens move is more interesting from a futures perspective.

What Comes Next for the Ravens?
Baltimore's next game is against New Orleans in Week 2.
The futures market will now have several new inputs to process before that matchup.
Flowers' hamstring is the most important.
Baltimore also needs updates on Lane and cornerback T.J. Tampa, who left Sunday's game with a knee injury.
If the Ravens emerge from the injury report largely intact, the current 7% championship probability could hold or continue climbing.
If the receiving corps is significantly depleted, some of Sunday's futures gain could disappear quickly.
That is the nature of an early-season championship market.
One game can change the price, but it rarely settles the argument.
Ravens Futures Odds: The Bottom Line
Baltimore's 41-23 win over Indianapolis produced one of Sunday's clearest championship-market reactions.
The Ravens entered the weekend around 6.3% on Polymarket and are now approximately 7% on the major prediction-market boards.
Lamar Jackson looked comfortable.
Derrick Henry produced three touchdowns.
Baltimore generated more than 500 yards in Jesse Minter's debut.
The remaining question is health.
Zay Flowers' hamstring injury prevents Sunday's result from being an unqualified positive and gives traders a reason to wait for more information before pushing Baltimore substantially higher.
For now, the market's conclusion is straightforward:
The Ravens looked more like a championship contender after Week 1 than they did before it.
