Plus 500 Review 2026: Is Plus 500 Worth Downloading?
- Contracts priced from $0.01 to $0.99.
- Sell your position before markets settle.
- Make predictions on various market categories.
Plus500 piqued my interest as a prediction market site, and Iāve had a great time trading event contracts across sports and other real-world events. Iāve put together this Plus 500 review to share my firsthand experience of the brandās offerings.
Thereās a lot to like about this prediction market site, as you can predict the outcome of just about every major event in sports, politics, entertainment, economics, and even crypto. Contract prices fall between one and 99 cents, and Plus500 has made it easy to trade on the go with nifty apps for both iOS and Android devices.

Plus500 may not have the hype of other prediction markets, but it delivers an all-round trading experience. I could predict what happens in an NFL game, what the Fed will decide on interest rates, or which party will win the White House. There are thousands of markets, and the website and app make it easy to spot what Iām interested in. Contract prices, settlement rules, charts, and trade volume are all shown upfront too. And you can build your predicting skills using virtual dollars in demo mode before using real funds. Plus500 is easily my go-to for prediction market trading.
What are Plus500 prediction markets?
Prediction markets are now fairly common, but itās still completely natural to be curious about how they work, especially at Plus500, where prediction markets only rolled out in 2026.
Plus500 is well known as a futures trading brand, but it now offers prediction markets where you can trade on the outcome of actual events that will happen in the future.
These span a vast range of categories and could be everything from predicting the outcome of political decisions and elections to crypto price changes, sports games, weather, tech trends, and popular figures. Plus500 offers its markets as binary Yes/No contracts where you get to choose what you think may happen.
But you may also find range-based contracts where you get to choose the range you think the final outcome will fall within. If you think an event will happen, you go for the Yes contracts. If you think it won't, you opt for the No contracts.
How do Plus500 contracts work?
Each contract is priced between $0.01 and $0.99, and these prices indicate what the market (other traders on Plus500) thinks the chances of that event happening are. Thereās a demo mode feature where you can practise trades using virtual dollars just to get the hang of how it all works.
One pro tip is to use the price point to get an idea of what other traders think may happen. Prices close to $0.01 mean other traders speculate the event might not happen, while those closer to $0.99 show a higher chance of occurrence. Do note that surprises can happen, and Iāve seen a lot of these even during this Plus 500 review. But thatās the fun of these markets, so you should only trade what you can afford to lose.
After an event settles, that is after it happens in real life, each share will be worth $1 if your prediction was correct or $0 if it wasn't. You can also choose to sell your position early at the current market price instead of waiting for the event to conclude. This may include an additional $0.02 fee, though.
Plus 500 review of its prediction markets
Now to the fun part, what exactly can you trade on? Plus500 prediction markets cover an extensive range of events. If it matters in the real world, then thereās a good chance youāll find a prediction market for it on Plus500. Here are some of the main prediction market categories I spotted during this Plus 500 review:
- Politics: Trade on local and international political decisions, Congress, courts, top political figures, and elections.
- Sports: You can make predictions on both live and future markets across football, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, esports, motorsport, hockey, and other sports.
- Crypto: Trade on short and longer-term price changes for Bitcoin and other popular cryptocurrencies.
- Economics: Markets on Fed decisions, interest rates, inflation, employment, gas prices, and other economic indicators.
- Entertainment: You'll find markets on movies, music, awards, TV shows, Google rankings, and other well-known culture events.
- Weather and climate: Predict temperatures across cities, rainfall, snow, natural disasters like hurricanes, and other related events.
What is the Plus500 sign up bonus for new traders?
A few older Plus 500 reviews mention the lack of a welcome bonus, but thatās no longer the case. As a new trader, you can now collect a $20 trading bonus after making your first deposit and using at least $10 on prediction market contracts. A Plus 500 promo code may be required to access this bonus, and you'll find it listed on the banners around this page or on the website.
I didn't get my bonus right away, but it was awarded within seven days after meeting the criteria, and thereās quite a bit of flexibility with it. You can use it across any of the prediction markets from sports to tech or simply withdraw it if you prefer. There is some fine print to be aware of, though, such as the bonus being limited to the first 5,000 traders.
If you'd rather get a feel for the site and see how contract trading works first, you can trade in demo mode. I collected $50,000 in virtual funds for my demo trades, which helped me learn the ropes before going on to use my actual cash. You can skip this if you're already a pro, but it's pretty handy if you're new to prediction markets in general.
Is Plus500 easy to trade on?
One of the positives of this Plus 500 review is getting to trade on the website that's easy to use and near-minimalist. You'll find all the important event contract details, including charts, current prices, settlement rules, history and the like. But everything is well categorized and I found Plus500 to be simple to use even for beginners. Contracts ask clear questions, markets are grouped into broad categories, and the help section has articles on the basics.
The different prediction market categories are easy to find from the left hamburger menu, alongside your open positions, orders, and closed positions. You can also use the search and filter options for specific markets.
Just a heads up - the site frequently logs you out after a few minutes of inactivity, so you might want to tick the ākeep logged inā box to prevent this. With that being said, I didnāt experience any lag while browsing markets or making trades during this Plus 500 review.
Plus500 app review - Can you trade on the move?
Downloading the Plus500 app on your Android or iOS device is something I'd recommend. This isn't only because of the high ratings on the app stores - I've used it extensively and found the app to be generally more convenient as I can trade on the go from anywhere and at any time. Itās a must as prediction markets react fast to new information.
Right now, there are no fewer than 11,000 Plus 500 app reviews with an average rating of 4.4 on Google Play Store and 4.7 on the App Store. With the app, you can manage your account, browse prediction markets, check contract prices, place trades, and sell your position without having to stay tethered to your laptop.
Reliable support options were a highlight of my Plus 500 review
As soon as I created an account, I was welcomed with a short introduction to what Plus500 prediction markets are all about. Tapping the 'Learn more' tab redirected me to the FAQ page, which has details on how contracts are priced, what the numbers under each event mean, payouts and fees, trading rules, and a lot more.
But thatās not the only way to get help on this site. Live chat is available round the clock, and you have the option to fill in a contact form if youāre okay with the support team getting back to you. I like immediate responses, so I always go for live chat, as I could get responses within minutes from an efficient team.
If you donāt mind waiting a few hours, you can contact the team via email, and responses are just as detailed in my experience.

Deposits and withdrawals are seamless
You do need to fund your account before placing real trades on any Plus500 prediction market. But before making a deposit, youāll have to verify your account and identity by entering your personal details and Social Security number.
You can make deposits and also withdraw from as little as $10, and credit as well as prepaid cards aren't allowed. There aren't any fees on deposits, but withdrawals have a 1.75% fee, with a minimum of $1 and a max of $150. This fee is automatically taken from the amount you want to withdraw, and you'll see the exact figure before sending a request. On the positive side, debit card withdrawals can come through in just one hour.
With that being said, here are the payment options I found during my Plus 500 review:
- Debit cards such as Visa and Mastercard
- Wire transfer (minimum of $200)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Are there any Plus500 fees for trading prediction markets?
Itās the norm to pay a small fee when you trade event contracts, and at Plus500, thatās a total of $0.02 per contract. $0.01 is charged for each contract, and the exchange also takes another $0.01 fee.
Itās quite a small fee in my opinion. Youāll also find details on what youāll pay upfront, even before you make any trade, so you can see the full amount and decide whether you want to go ahead.
Is Plus500 legit?
It's natural to ask, is Plus500 legit, especially since its prediction markets only rolled out in 2026. Based on my findings during this Plus 500 review, it's absolutely legit and safe. Plus500 is operated through Plus500US Financial Services LLC and is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Its event contracts are offered in partnership with Kalshi, the first CFTC-regulated prediction markets exchange in the US. So as long as you're at least 18 years old, you can sign up by clicking any of the banners on this page, complete the necessary KYC checks, and start making your predictions. Being regulated by the CFTC means that Plus500 adheres to strict rules on transparency, fair trading, and user protection. However, this doesn't mean that there are no risks involved, as you could lose what you spend if your predictions aren't correct.
Security and safety of your personal and financial data aren't taken lightly on the website or Plus500 app. The site is TLS encrypted, while the app is equipped with biometric login and 2FA.
Conclusion: Sign up and make predictions on Plus500
Thereās so much you can trade at Plus500, with thousands of event contracts across different sections that affect people in the real world, like politics, sports, crypto, economics, weather, and culture.
What's more, you can receive a $20 welcome bonus after meeting the site's requirements. You can also sell your position before the event happens if you prefer, and deposits and withdrawals are pretty easy using options like debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and wire transfer.
Iāve reviewed several prediction market sites, and while Plus500 doesn't get a lot of hype, its range of markets, easy-to-use website, nifty app, and reliable customer support make it a solid option to consider.
