Nittany Lions (+) over Golden Gophers- After watching Minnesota (7-2) take out Nebraska and then come back and defeat Indiana on the road it is surprising to me that they opened less then a field goal favorite at home against Penn State (5-3). This game is labeled the battle for the Governor's Victory Bell when they met in their first Big Ten contest in 1993. The Golden Gophers are trying to win their fourth straight conference game something they haven done since 1973. Penn State holds an 8-4 series advantage and I expect them to win here. Their freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg leads the Big Ten in completions with 164 and pass completions and 253 passing yards per game. Take PENN STATE!
