Dallas vs. Green Bay
(NFL) Dallas vs. Green Bay, 10/16/2016 12:25 PM, Score: 30 - 16
Point Spread: -3.50 | -115.00 Green Bay (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a battle between the best rushing defense in the league and the top ranked rushing offense. Green Bay is having themselves a fine season defensively. They are allowing only 42 yards per game on the ground, which is tops in the league. The longest rush they've allowed is just 14 yards. The reason that they are so good at stopping the run is because they have linebackers (some of the best in the league) that can plug the holes or make open field tackles for losses. This means that rookie running-back Ezekiel Elliott could find it tough sledding between the tackles and that will put the onus on fellow rookie Dak Prescott to make plays. This rookie tandem has played better than most expected, but this week at Lambeau Field, we will see some regression. We haven't even mentioned Green Bay's offense yet – who, minus the Minnesota game, have averaged 28 points per game. Aaron Rodgers is slinging the ball around the field, Jordy Nelson looks to be getting back in the flow of things and Eddie Lacy is having a bounce back season. Add in home-field advantage and we expect the Packers win going away.
