SP Colin Rea (4-1) allowed two runs across five plus frames to earn the win for the Cubs (20-12), who improved to 12-5 at home.

Chicago skipper Craig Counsell will turn to thirty-two year old southpaw Shota Imanaga (2-2 3.15 ERA) on Saturday. Through 34 plus innings, Imanaga has struck out 38 batters and ranks seventh in the majors with a 0.87 WHIP.
