Thirty-two year old southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez (7-8 5.22 ERA) will head to the hill for the Diamondbacks in this contest. Last time out, Rodriguez (6 IP) allowed four hits and one run during a 10-5 home victory versus Boston.

Giants Preview

The San Francisco Giants have won eight of their last 11 games and trail New York by two games for the final NL Wild Card spot. During Tuesday’s home victory, SS Willy Adames put San Francisco on the scoreboard in the opening frame with a three-run blast. C Patrick Bailey added a solo shot for the Giants (74-71), who improved to 37-34 at home.

Twenty-six year old righty Carson Seymour (4.25 ERA) will make his third start of the year for the Giants, Seymour, who appeared in ten games as a reliever, has surrendered eight long balls in just 29 plus innings.
