Thirty year old right-hander Grant Holmes (3-2 3.78 ERA) will make his 11th start of the year for the Braves. Last time out, Holmes (5 IP) gave up a pair of runs and struck out ten batters during a 2-0 home loss versus Washington.

Reds Preview

The Cincinnati Reds have split their previous ten games and are five games off the pace in the tightly contested NL Central Division race. On Wednesday, Cincinnati batters went 3-for-15 with runners in scoring position and left a season-high 17 batters on base during a 4-2 road loss against New York. SP Andrew Abbott (4-3) gave up two runs in six innings and took the loss for the Reds (29-26), who fell to 15-14 on the road.

Thirty year old righty Chris Paddack (0-6 6.86 ERA) will look to get his season on track for the Reds. Paddack, who was acquired from Miami in a trade earlier this month, has lasted five innings in each of his first two starts with his new club.
