Thirty-one year old righty Tyler Wells (1-0 2.31 ERA) will make his third start of the year for the Orioles. Last time out, Wells (6.2 IP) allowed one run and struck out six batters during a 2-1 home loss versus Pittsburgh.

White Sox Preview

The Chicago White Sox are looking to snap a five-game losing streak and own the worst record in the American League. During Tuesday’s home loss, Chicago leadoff hitter Chase Meidroth went 2-for-4 and scored twice. SP Shane Smith (6-8) was roughed up for six runs across four plus frames and took the loss for the White Sox (57-95), who fell to 32-45 at home.

Chicago manager Will Venable will give the nod to veteran left-hander Martin Perez (1-5 3.27 ERA) on Wednesday. In his last start, Perez (6.2 IP) gave up four hits and three runs during a 4-0 road loss against Cleveland.
