Twenty-eight year old southpaw Trevor Rogers (5-7 4.99 ERA) will head to the hill for the Orioles in this contest. In his last start, Rogers (6.1 IP) allowed one run and struck out seven batters during a 3-1 home victory versus Washington.

Reds Preview

The Cincinnati Reds are three games below .500 at home and are trying to climb out of the NL Central Division cellar. On Thursday, Cincinnati C Jose Trevino went 3-for-4 with a three-run blast during a 7-2 road victory against Milwaukee. SP Chase Burns (10-1) allowed two runs across six innings to earn the win for the Reds, who improved to 40-46 overall.

Cincinnati skipper Terry Francona will turn to twenty-nine year old righty Brady Singer (3-7 5.12 ERA) in the series opener. Last time out, Singer (4.1 IP) was tagged for nine hits and five runs during a 9-4 road loss against Pittsburgh.
