The New York Yankees are riding a seven-game winning streak and are locked in a tie with Toronto atop the AL East Division standings. During yesterday’s home victory, All-Star OF Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with his 53rd home run and drove in three to lead the New York offense. Giancarlo Stanton and Ryan McMahon also went deep for the Yankees (93-68), who improved to 49-31 at home.

Twenty-seven year old righty Luis Gil (4-1 3.29 ERA) could be a key contributor for the Yankees in the postseason. New York has won Gil’s previous four starts and he has allowed seven runs across his last plus innings.
