Nationals Preview

The Washington Nationals have won seven of their last ten games and are tied with Philadelphia for second place in the NL East Division standings. During yesterday’s home victory, C Keibert Ruiz fell a triple short of the cycle and drove in five runs to power Washington’s offense. Brady House and Jacon Young also homered for the Nationals (23-23), who improved to 8-13 at home.

Thirty-seven year old righty Miles Mikolas (1-3 7.00 ERA) is starting to turn things around in his first season with the Nationals. Last time out, Mikolas gave up two runs (1 ER) and lasted just three plus innings during a 10-4 road victory against Cincinnati.
