Braves Preview

The Atlanta Braves have won 15 of their first 23 home games and are sitting comfortably atop the NL East Division standings. During Saturday’s home loss, DH Drake Baldwin went 2-for-3 with a solo shot and two runs batted in. SP Bryce Elder (4-2) allowed three runs in eight innings and was the hard luck loser for the Braves (31-15), who fell to 15-8 at home.

Thirty-year old right-hander Grant Holmes (2-1 4.35 ERA) will take the ball for the Braves in the series finale. Atlanta has won Holmes’ previous four starts and he has given up 13 runs (12 ER) over his last 19 plus frames.
