The Tampa Bay Rays have dropped eight of their previous 11 games and have their sights set on the future. During Saturday’s home loss, Tampa Bay batters went 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. SP Adrian Houser (8-5) gave up three runs in six innings and took the loss for the Rays (75-80), who fell to 40-40 at home.

Twenty-eight year old righty Ryan Pepiot (11-11 3.77 ERA) will take the mound for the Rays in this matchup. Last time out, Pepiot was roughed up for four runs and recorded just five outs during a 6-5 home loss versus Toronto.
