During Friday’s home loss, Griffin Conine collected two of Miami’s four hits and scored their only run. SP Janson Junk (6-9) gave up one run in five innings and was the hard luck loser for the Marlins (71-71), who fell to 42-28 at home.
Twenty-seven year old righty Ryan Gusto (1-3 3.86 ERA) will make his 15th start of the year for the Marlins. Last time out, Guston (4.1 IP) allowed four hits and one run during a 6-3 road loss against Washington.
