Last night, Jacob Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Junior Perez added a three-run blast to lead Chicago to a 9-3 road triumph against Baltimore.

Chicago rookie left-hander Noah Schultz (2-4 5.82 ERA) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list to start this game. Through 38 plus innings at the major league level, Schultz has issued an alarming 22 walks and surrendered four long balls.

Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are a distant 12 games out of contention in the AL East Division. During Tuesday’s home loss, Baltimore leadoff hitter Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. SP Trey Gipson (1-3) was roughed up for eight runs in two plus innings and took the loss for the Orioles (39-48), who fell to 23-23 at home.

Baltimore manager Craig Albernaz has not announced a starting pitcher for the series finale. The Orioles rank in the bottom third of the majors with a 4.38 ERA and a subpar 1.38 WHIP. Baltimore’s starters have logged 29 quality starts.
