The New York Yankees have won seven of their last ten games and are clinging to a one-game lead over Tampa Bay for the top spot in the AL East Division. On Sunday, Ben Rice hit a two-run blast and Jose Caballero added a three-run shot in the ninth inning to lead New York to an 8-3 road victory against Toronto. SS Anthony Volpe contributed two hits and a pair of RBIs for the Yankees (43-27), who improved to 24-15 on the road.

New York manager Aaron Boone will turn to 2023 American League Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole (1-1 2.45 ERA) on Tuesday. Last time out, Cole (4 IP) allowed two runs and struck out four batters during a 3-2 road victory against Cleveland.
