Twenty-six year old righty Sean Burke (6-4 3.41 ERA) is quietly having a breakout season for the White Sox. In his last five starts, Burke (32 IP) has allowed just six runs and retired 42 batters by strikes. Chicago has outscored the opposition 32-6 during that stretch.

Blue Jays Preview

The Toronto Blue Jays are a game below .500 at home and are trying to climb out of the AL East Division cellar. During yesterday’s home victory, Toronto scored their only run on a George Springer RBI single that plated Vladimir Guerrero Jr.. SP Shane Bieber (1-1) fanned six batters across and lasted six innings to earn the win for the Blue Jays, who improved to 46-52 overall.

The Blue Jays will counter with twenty-two year old righty Trey Yesavage (4-4 3.72 ERA) in the series finale. Last time out, Yesavage (1.2 IP) walked an alarming seven batters and gave up four runs during an 8-7 road loss against San Diego.
