The Los Angeles Dodgers have not missed the playoffs since 2012 and are looking to win consecutive World Series titles. During Tuesday’s home victory, OF Teoscar Hernandez homered twice and drove in four runs to power the Los Angeles offense. SP Blake Snell fanned nine batters across six plus innings to earn the win for the Dodgers. MVP Shohei Ohtani led off with a long ball and added a 454-foot two-run bomb.

Los Angeles skipper Dave Roberts will give the nod to talented right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-8 2.49 ERA) on Wednesday. Through 173 plus innings, Yamamoto has fanned 201 batters and ranks sixth in the majors with a 0.99 WHIP.
