The Philadelphia Phillies are riding a four-game winning streak and trail NL East Division leading Atlanta by eight games. On Sunday, 2B Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs to spark Philadelphia to a 6-0 road victory against Pittsburgh. SP Zack Wheeler (3-0) fired seven shutout frames and struck out eight batters to earn the win for the Phillies (24-23).

Rookie left-hander Andrew Painter (1-4 6.21 ERA) will make his eighth career major league start for the Phillies. Last time out, Painter (5 IP) allowed four hits and one run during a 3-1 road loss against Boston.
