Phillies Preview

The Philadelphia Phillies have reeled off five straight victories and are seven games out of first place in the NL East Division standings. On Monday, Philadelphia trailed by a run entering the bottom of the eighth inning and Bryson Stott changed the outcome with a two-run blast. 1B Alec Bohm went 2-for-3 with a solo shot for the Phillies (25-23), who improved to 13-12 at home.

Philadelphia interim manager Don Mattingly will turn to talented southpaw Jesus Luzardo (3-3 5.07 ERA) on Tuesday. In his last start, Luzardo limited Boston to four hits across six shutout frames during a 3-1 road victory against Boston.
