During yesterday’s home victory, OF Ryan O’Hearn went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs to spark the Pittsburgh offense. OF Bryan Reynolds scored three runs for the Pirates (18-16), who scored ten runs in the first two innings.

Pittsburgh skipper Don Kelly will turn to twenty-six year old righty Braxton Ashcraft (1-2 3.71 ERA) on Sunday. Last time out, Ashcraft (4.1 IP) was roughed up for six hits and six runs during an 11-7 home loss versus St. Louis.
