Twenty-nine year old righty Brady Singer (2-6 5.89 ERA) will head to the hill for the Reds in this contest. Cincinnati has lost Singer’s previous five starts and he has surrendered 19 runs (16 ER) over his last 22 plus innings.

Padres Preview

The San Diego Padres are a game below .500 at home and are sitting eight games off the pace in the NL West Division race. During Tuesday’s home loss, San Diego batters went 3-for-20 with runners in scoring position and left 13 men on base. 2B Fernando Tatis Jr. collected four hits and scored a run for the Padres, who fell to 34-32 overall.

San Diego first-year manager Craig Stammen will give the nod to veteran right-hander Michael King (4-5 3.41 ERA) on Wednesday. Last time out, King (6 IP) gave up six hits and four runs during a 5-0 home loss versus New York.
