Guardians Preview

The Cleveland Guardians have won nine of their last ten games and have moved into a tie with Houston for the final AL Wild Card spot. On Sunday, Cleveland OF Steven Kwan led off with his 11th home run during a 6-2 road loss against Minnesota. SP Joey Cantillo allowed one run in four plus innings and did not factor in the decision for the Guardians (84-72).

Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt will turn to right-hander Gavin Williams (11-5 3.06 ERA) on Tuesday. In his last start, Williams fired five shutout frames and struck out nine batters during a 4-0 road victory against Detroit.
