Guardians Preview

The Cleveland Guardians have won ten of their last 11 games and control their own destiny to clinch a postseason berth. During Tuesday’s home victory, leadoff hitter Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 and scored twice to spark the Cleveland offense. SP Gavin Williams (12-5) fanned 12 batters across six solid frames to earn the win for the Guardians (85-72), who improved to 42-34 at home.

Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt will turn to twenty-six year old righty Tanner Bibee (11-11 4.34 ERA) on Wednesday. The Guardians have won Bibee’s previous three starts and he has allowed just three runs across his last 21 plus frames.
