On Sunday, four Houston pitchers combined on a four-hitter during a 2-0 home victory versus Tampa Bay. Isaac Paredes and Christian Walker each went deep to provide the offensive for the Astros.

Twenty-six year old righty Mike Burrows (4-8 5.58 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros in this matchup. In his last start, Burrows (5 IP) gave up six hits and four runs during a 6-4 home victory versus Minnesota.

Nationals Preview

The Washington Nationals have split their previous ten games and are 7.5 games off the pace in the NL East Division race. On Sunday, Washington 1B Luis Garcia Jr. crushed a two-run blast and OF Dylan Crews added a solo shot during an 11-5 home loss versus Pittsburgh. RP Brad Lord (5-2) gave up five runs and took the loss for the Nationals (46-45), who fell to a disappointing 18-27 at home.

Thirty-seven year old righty Miles Mikolas (2-7 5.44 ERA) will need to hit the reset button at the All-Star Break. The Nationals have dropped Mikolas’ previous three starts and he has surrendered 13 runs (11 ER) over his last 16 plus innings.
