The Los Angeles Dodgers are riding a nine-game winning streak and are in search of their third World Series title in the last six years. During Monday’s road victory, pinch-hitter Will Smith delivered a two-run single to stake Los Angeles to a 3-0 lead in the seventh inning. SP Blake Snell (2-0) fanned nine batters across six shutout frames to earn the win for the Dodgers.

Los Angeles skipper Dave Roberts will give the nod to talented right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-8 2.49 ERA) in Game Three. Through 173 plus innings, Yamamoto retired 201 batters by strikes and ranked sixth in the majors with a 0.99 WHIP.
