The top-seeded Brewers (2-1) have made the playoffs in seven of their last ten seasons and are looking to win their first World Series title in franchise history. In Game Three, Milwaukee 1B Jake Bauers homered and drove in a pair of runs during a 4-3 road loss against Chicago.

Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy has yet to name a starting pitcher for this contest. The Brewers ranked second during the regular season with a 3.58 ERA and logged 46 quality starts. Milwaukee will likely use All-Star SP Freddy Peralta in Game Five if the series goes that far.

Cubs Preview

The Chicago Cubs won 50 of 81 home games during the regular season and took the season series against Milwaukee by a narrow 7-6 margin. During Wednesday’s home victory, 1B Michael Busch led off for Chicago with a solo shot. All-Star OF Pete Crow-Armstrong added a two-run single for the Cubs (1-2), who scored all four runs in the opening frame.

Chicago skipper Craig Counsell has not announced his starting pitcher for Game Four. The Cubs ranked ninth in the majors with a 3.79 ERA and notched 61 quality starts. Chicago’s bullpen has been solid and this will be an all hands on deck approach.
