Bleday fell a triple short of the cycle and scored twice for the Reds (67-73), who improved to 34-37 at home.
Cincinnati skipper Terry Francona will turn to twenty-four year old righty Rhett Lowder (6-8 5.14 ERA) in the series opener. The Reds have won Lowder’s previous three starts and he has allowed 11 runs (10 ER) across his last 17 plus frames.
