SP Carlos Rodon (6-3) allowed one run across six plus frames to earn the win for the Yankees (85-62), who improved to 41-31 at home.
The Yankees will counter with 2023 American League Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole (8-8 3.41 ERA) on Saturday. In his last start, Cole (7 IP) surrendered four solo home runs and did not walk a batter during a 4-3 road loss against San Diego.
