Kyle Schwarber is doing the power hitting with 49 homers and 120 RBI, while Trea Turner’s .305 average and 179 hits keep innings alive. However, Turner was just placed on the 10-day IL. The Phillies have overcome nagging injuries all season, and Turner’s absence should not affect the outcome of this game.

Christopher Sánchez has been a difference maker this season for Philly. The lefty’s 186 strikeouts against just 42 walks in 176.1 innings and his 1.12 WHIP play perfectly against a Mets lineup that has used the long ball all season to score. If Sanchez gets ahead in the count early, Philly should hand the ball over to the bullpen with a comfortable lead late.
