Last night, New York 1B Ben Rice went 2-for-4 with a two-run blast during a 3-2 road loss.

Twenty-six year old righty Will Warren (4-1 3.46 ERA) will take the mound for the Yankees in this matchup. Through 41 plus innings, Warren ranks 11th in the majors with 53 strikeouts and owns a respectable 1.20 WHIP.

Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles have split their first 22 home games and are tied with Toronto for third place. During Monday’s home victory, Baltimore DH Coby Mayo put his team ahead with a three-run shot in the seventh inning. C Adley Rutschman singled and scored for the Orioles. Anthony Nunez notched his second save of the year.

Baltimore manager Craig Albernaz has not announced a starting pitcher for Tuesday’s game. The Orioles rank near the bottom of the majors with a 4.74 team ERA and have logged just nine quality starts. Baltimore uses a closer by committee and the bullpen owns a 4.36 ERA.
