Giants Preview

The San Francisco Giants have not won a playoff series in more than a decade and have the unenviable task of trying to dethrone the NL West Division Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. During Wednesday’s home loss, San Francisco batters went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. SP Logan Webb (0-1) surrendered seven runs (6 ER) in five innings and took the loss for the Giants.

The Giants will counter with thirty-four year old southpaw Robbie Ray (11-8 3.65 ERA) on Friday. Ray, who was named an All-Star in 2025, fanned 186 batters and issued an alarming 73 walks in 182 plus innings.
